I hope they hurry up with the other tests. Cause I truly believe their reports. Thanks for posting. And I'm really happy with the scratch test##

Awesome so far! Heart rate accuracy is impressive.
Also curious to see the limits of the water resistance.

I'm really impressed with the scratch and water resistant test. I work in a kitchen and don't wanna worry about getting water on my watch.

If history is a guide, Consumer Reports will likely advise against the :apple: Watch. They almost never recommend Apple products, especially 1st gen, for whatever reasons.

Wow the scratch test was impressive! I wasn't exactly sure if it would be really as strong as sapphire, and some users were saying sandpaper would scratch it. Guess they were wrong :)

To me, that's worth paying extra for.

I guess few here remember (or were around) for the disgraceful iPhone 4 review from CR?

CR should stick to reviewing toilet paper and deodorant and leave tech reviews to reviewers who are competent. CR is absolutely worthless and their review holds about as much weight as my review -- NONE.

lol like iPhone 4 - and how they said the iPhone 4 was the best smart phone available but couldn't recommend it due to the antenna issues lol.

Yes, but not the Sapphire screen, which is what I was talking about.

It will be interesting to see how the SS with Sapphire will compare to the Aluminum with the X Glass in drop tests. While less susceptible to scratches sapphire whas proved to me less crack proof in some other non Apple Watch tests. Not sure how the durability between the SS and Aluminum casing will compare either.

I don't plan on running sandpaper all over my watch. The Sport should be strong enough for most surfaces it rubs against on a regular basis.
