I've put peoples birthdays into the contact information on my iPhone, and no idea how they ended up syncing to my calendar on my phone...

Anyway, a couple of them show up against an incorrect date in the calendar, even though the date is correct in the contact.

Any idea how to sort this out?

In iCal, Choose iCal > Preferences and click General.

Deselect the “Show Birthdays calendar” checkbox.

It's nothing to do with iCal. The iPhone now has it's own Birthdays calendar which generates appointments straight from the iPhone Contacts.
It is a know bug about the wrong dates and the solution is to enter the birthday again.

Is there a working method for this then?

As I've just deleted a birthday, re-entered it, but it's still wrong on my calendar. Should I be doing it from Outlook?
