contact group help needed

[i hate phones]

i don't know what changed... i never noticed this before, but i have multiple email addresses set up on my phone and none are set to sync contacts... yet in my contact groups i have one that has my works global address book... now when i start to enter someone's name or email in my gmail email i a thousand names get suggested. is there anyway to get rid of this group or just have it accessable when i'm in my work email?

this group thing annoys the hell out of me, i don't have the exchange accounts set to sync any contacts, but i have groups for them. wish i could get rid of them!!
