Contact in Messages

I figured they will have corrected this by now but typing out a contact's name in a new message still sucks. Sometimes, It still brings up the contact's email or the group messages they were in but not the person's cell phone number. (even though that's what I always pick for this contact). I have to hit the add icon and scroll down to the contact and pick the mobile number. WTF?

That happens to my own number when I type in my own name it shows as my email only
