Ok I am loosing my mind on this....
Everyday when I am sending someone a text or iMessage, I will see their name at the top of the message disappear and get replaced by their phone number, but their picture remains. If I tap the number and get info I have to "add to existing contact" and i notice the EXACT same number is already there. So I go ahead and add it to the contact again and their name reappears on iMessage.
An example of one that just happened this morning:
Contact: John Smith (name has disappeard)
Phone Number on top of iMessage +1 (918) 123-4567
Tap Number
Tap Info
Tap Add to Existing Contact
Select Contact
Under Contact Phone number listed as Mobile +1 (918) 123-4567
New Number it wants to add as Phone +1 (918) 123-4567
Most of my contacts now have two numbers listed but they are the exact same and if I delete either one, the name disappears in iMessage/Text.
Anyone have any ideas?
