My contacts list on my iPhone 3GS are tied to my gmail contacts. Earlier today, I finished updating pictures from some of my contacts and I did it through my phone as I've done in the past. Gmail then automatically syncs it and updates the pictures on their servers. Anyway, I just noticed that now, when I'm making calls to people who I have set a contact picture for, their picture no longer appears in the background. Instead, my lockscreen background shows up. The picture of them is very small, shows up in the upper right corner, by their name. I tried turning deleting the exchange/gmail linked account on my iphone and re-introducing it, but that hasn't helped. I haven't changed any settings since this morning. Anyone experiencing the same thing? Could anyone please help me solve this mystery? Thanks, much appreciated!
