Contact poster not always showing on iOS 26 when calling

Good morning,

I have assigned a poster (photo) to some of my phone contacts, so that when I call them or when I receive an incoming call from them, this assigned poster is displayed in full screen.

Since I migrated to iOS 26, I notice that sometimes, the assigned poster does not display when I call a contact. I have a black screen instead. This is not systematic, but it happens randomly.

Did you notice this with iOS 26 ? It seems to be one of the visual glitches which occur in iOS 26.0

Ohh! Still happens on iOS 26.2. I observed a pattern. The contact poster disappear for those contacts that I have saved with multiple phone numbers in my Contacts app. The rest of the contacts, with only one phone number, seem to display the contact poster just fine. Is it the same for you? 🧐
