Initially when I hooked up the 3G iPhone to my iMac (Leopard, Intel Duo), it took about 30 minutes to sync up the contacts (did not sync music or photos--just contacts). I heard it could take a long time. But just synced it again, and the back up portion took 10 seconds. But now it's been on "Syncing contacts" for 30 minutes, but it's still going. I cancelled it one time, and found that the new contacts that I added were not on the iPhone. How can I get this to speed up? Maybe I should get a firewire cable....

EDIT: Nevermind. Figured it out. It was some hidden authorization "sync" dialogue that I had to accept before the sync could proceed. That is why it seemed to take so long.
