Anyone else find the Contacts limitation to four lines for an address irritating ?

More than four lines and the address loses formatting, randomly transposing address lines in the address.

OK, you can extend the length of each address line but it is cumbersome.

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're saying, but couldn't you just add returns into your field? In my screen shot I've added a heap of lines into the 'Street' field.

Thanks, I understand what you are saying but I find that moving away from the classic four line address (even using return) results in whole lines being printed out of synch.

What happens is that the first two lines of the address transpose themselves, for example:-

"Acarsaid Mhor",
Cleuch Avenue
Tullibody
Alloa
Clackmanannshire
FK10 2RX

becomes,

Cleuch Avenue
"Acarsaid Mhor"
Tullibody
Alloa
Clackmannanshire
FK10 2RX

Reducing the lines to four by increasing the words within each line solves the problem at the cost of a very ugly looking address, see below.

"Acarsaid Mhor", Cleuch Avenue
Tullibody, Alloa
Clackmannanshire
FK10 2RX

I would prefer to be able to address as I choose rather than comply with Big Brother's view as to what I should do.

Same Issue, any resolution?

I experienced this problem as well when creating a contact on my Mac, and then seeing the 3 lines of the street address inexplicably rearranged when viewing the contact on my iPhone. Any other insights from the community on this? It just seems that iOS doesn't like addresses that don't conform to its standard 2-line street address format.
