Contacts and calendars not syncing to Watch via iCloud

I just noticed this AM that messages (SMS and iMessage) are both showing as phone numbers on my Series 5 instead of contacts (and my contacts are empty), and my calendars aren't syncing. Oddly, my iCloud email, photos, reminders, and other iCloud-synced items are working fine. Even weather locations 🤷‍♂️. My Reset Sync Data button in the Watch app is also not responding, but the erase and home screen buttons are.

Before I go through the nuke and pave process, is anyone else experiencing this? I thought maybe it was a 7.1 bug, but have been on it for a few days and just noticed today.

I just updated to watchOS 7.3 a few days ago, and this is happening to me, only for contacts. (AW3) Have not had this happen to me since the very early days, when rebooting would fix it. Now it seems to not sync over any contacts from my phone.
