I got my iphone4 set up yesterday. Everything was fine. This morning when I woke up, I had no contacts! Also the passwords for my work exchange account, gmail account, and home wireless had been dropped. When I went into my mms, they all display numbers instead of names since the contacts were gone.
I was able to restore from the backup (which took maybe 1 minute) and everything was back. Then I was using my phone and went to the facebook app (doubt it was specific to that) and the app immediately crashed. I tried again same thing, tried another app, same thing. Then I tried the contacts app, same thing. At this point I restarted my phone. Upon restart I started getting prompted for network passwords again, I checked my contacts, they were gone. My passwords were also gone from my exchange/gmail accounts again.
I tried restarting a few times and eventually restored again from my itunes backup, which again was fast. This seems to have work and so far, things haven't gone missing a third time.
Has anyone else had this happen?
