The company I work for changed the way that they format the name of the company. I'd like to use Automator to go through my Contacts on my Mac and find & replace all instances of the old formatting in the Company field and replace it with the new formatting.

I don't see any built in Automator actions to edit contacts. Do they exist?

You can export all contacts to a VCF file then open the VCF in Textedit and use Applescript to find and replace. Check this out.
