Contacts Disappeared

Yesterday I (finally) turned "on" the imessage feature on my iphone. Immediately after that all of my contacts were gone. I went into settings and switched contacts to "on" but it instead loaded all of my husband's contacts, as his email is the email address we use to our icloud account. Is there any way I can retrieve MY contacts?

Have any backups? Try restoring from a recent backup.

Also, it's not a good idea to share iCloud...

That's happened to me before. I just restarted my phone and they popped back.
