Contacts disappearing

I added a couple of contacts onto my iPhone yesterday and all looked fine
Checked o my Mac this morning and the new contacts where not there

No problem I thought, I will look on my phone and just manually enter them into my address book and hopefully this will cause it to sync correctly

went into contacts on my phone, saw the new entries, then they just disappeared before my eyes

anyone know why it thought my MobileMe copy was the latest and used this, deleting things from the phone

The same thing has just happened to me today. Added an important contact at work and when I got home and checked on the computer it was not there. Then when I checked my iPhone it was also missing there.

Hopefully this is just a temporary gilitch as it has worked many times before
