Im in the Philippines and have and unlocked iPhone. Firmware 1.0.2.
If i were to save a contact's mobile in this format, +63 9XX XXXXXXX and the person were to call me, his/her name would not be displayed. Just the number comes out but if the same contact were to send me an SMS, all is fine and his/her name is displayed.
On the otherhand, if I were to save a contact's mobile number in this format, 09XX XXXXXXX, and if person the were to call me, his/her name would be displayed and all is good but if the same contact were to send me an SMS, just the number would come out without any name. HOWEVER, if I were to open the entire SMS from within the SMS application, then the corresponding contact's name would be displayed.
Is this a bug with the current firmware or is my phone faulty?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
