I'm having strange problem with my iPhone 6 Plus that is starting today. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence with the 2factor from apple for the iMessage and FaceTime.

On certain contacts, Photos not showing up even though I added it for caller id picture. The photos themselves exist on the phone.
For the ringtones, I can't seem to assign a different ringtone for call or for text. On some contacts, the call ringtone would revert to default. On other contacts, the text ringtone would revert to default.
The different ringtone is the built in ringtone from apple, not a custom one.
I did a DFU restore, export iCloud contacst, deleted all iCloud contacts, and import them back after the DFU restore. This did not solve the reverting to default ringtone or missing contact photos.

I noticed it today since someone was calling me, and it wasn't using a ringtone that I specified for that caller.
After DFU restore, and iCloud delete/import, not sure what else to try.

Update: My iCloud is sync to my MBA, so when looking at contacts in the mac, somehow it changes the content and gets sync to the phone. This somehow disables/revert back ringtone/text tone at random. I'm not even editing it, just click on a contact and view the information.
It did not use to do this before.
