Why do some Contacts photos appear as a smaller square icon in the upper right, with the name to the left of it while in a phone call, and others appear as full screen images, similar to wallpaper? I've got some contacts that appear one way and some that appear the other and can't figure out why.

Contacts photos: full screen vs. small square?

Small = Came from Address book on the computer
Large = Assigned on the phone itself
There are other threads here you can search for if you want a longer discussion, but that's pretty much all you need to know.

When you add people with contacts via software on your computer (such as Address Book) and pick pics for the contacts in the software, you get the smaller pictures. If you add them from your iPhone you get the large picture.
