Contacts will sync Outlook / iPhone (iTunes) but not the other way round

Hi,

I have an issue where contacts will sync from Outlook to iPhone (via iTunes) but not iPhone to Outlook. I have trawled a few sites and deleted the iPhone backup and disabled all but the iTunes Sync in Outlook Trust Center but no luck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

iPhone 3G running OS 3.1.3 and iTunes 9.0.3.15.

Perhaps reinstall Outlook?
