¿Content Trash bin changes when connecting external disk?

Hi guys, a question:

Situation: organizing files. External disk connected.
When emptying the trash bin securely, a window is showing and asking for confirmation to delete secured files. But confirming doesn't help, because the files are still there.
When I disconnect the Ext. disk, these secured files in the trash bin are no longer visible. The bin is empty. But when I connect the disk again, the bin is full of the same files. (see attachment)

Why? How? Thanks!

MBPro 2009, removed old HD with SDD
OSX 10.8.5
External Disk connected with USB
