When trying to burn VIDEO TS files with Toast, I keep getting the following error message when dragging the files over:

"Contents of this VIDEO_TS folder cannot be compressed".

WTF??

Does the Video_TS require a dual layer DVD? What is the file size of the Video folder? If it's bigger than 4.7gb then you'll need dual layer discs.

Hmmmm...good point. The VIDEO_TS folder is 7.26gb. I thought Toast would compress this to fit it on one disc???

Nope. It can't compress any Video TS folders unless you do a file conversion which will likely take forever and lose a lot of quality. You need some DL DVD's.

That's weird....because I have another VIDEO_TS folder that is 6.26GB that just burned using Toast without a problem.....?

Hmm, that is weird. Well, I can't really advise past what I've already said. Maybe the 6gb folder was compressed to fit, yet the large 7gb folder can't be compressed enough? Good luck.
