After reading Doctor Q's thread it appears there are now 9 million posts in the forum. Isn't it time for a 10 million posts competition like we used to have for every million?

The 9th million post suggests that there was already a competition :D and occurred on Christmas day, I wondered how long it would be before someone created this thread. :)

As noted in/hinted at in previous contest? threads, 6, 7, 8 Million and now this 9 million thread I suspect that something will be done for the 10th million post.

Anyone with any ideas? After all the less thinking we have to do the more likely that something may happen.

Perhaps we could hold a sweep-stake where by every member pays me a £1 and the person to guess the closest time to when the 10,000,000th post will happen will win £40, second £20 and third will get £10. Sounds fair to me. I'll even you give you a good starting point.

We definitely need a contest. Winner gets a cool little badge next to their name and gets to choose which moderator we will offer up as a sacrifice.

Im up for a competition, along the lines of guess the day? Or something else?
