I booted up my Mac today and discovered that whenever I right click on things to pull up the contextual menu I now no longer have the majority of the options that I used to.

For example, the screenshot attached is from right-click on my desktop. All of the options for cleaning up or arranging items have disappeared.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I've tried restarting a couple of times and nothing changed.

This just happened to me today, I'm running 10.9.2 on a Late 2013 MBP. The context menu when I two finger click on the desk top only shows two items, new folder and get info just like in the example above. Any clues?

Thank you very much. It was indeed total finder needing an update for 10.9.2 compatibility. Thanks again.
