Continuity between iPhone 5 and iPad Air

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to set up continuity between my air and iPhone 5. For some reasons its not working. Please note that I am connected to the same wifi. Same iCloud is used on both. Bluetooth is on for both.

Now when i go to bluetooth, it shows your devices. And iPhone is listed on iPad and vice versa. But when i try to click on it to connect, it doesnt connect saying that please make sure the device bluetooth is on and is in range.

I am running iOS 8 GM on both. Also, hand off is on in both the devices.

I have gone through many videos but none shows how to set it up to begin with.

Any help is appreciated.

Also, I got the call and sms relay up and running. Now i have disable the sms relay for now because right now i dont want to use it. However, if i feel like turning it on once again, then how do i do that?

I got it working. Just didnt know that the handoff icon comes on the lockscree. I was looking for it on the home screen.
