I've been using my iPhone 12 Pro Max as my webcam via Continuity Camera for the past several months. I'm using this with my M2 Pro MacBook Pro (16").

Lately, possibly since the last macOS update, I've noticed that whenever Continuity Camera activates (e.g. joining a Zoom call), the Wifi connection on my MacBook Pro is interrupted for a few seconds. I know this because I'll see some of my Google cloud apps notify me about lost connection or being offline, and this quickly recovers after a few seconds.

Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder if something with the latest iOS and/or macOS updates caused this, as it wasn't happening previously.

I have a similar combo (12 Pro Max and M1 Max) and haven’t had any issues.

Does this happen regardless of your Wi-Fi strength/laptop location?

I am having the same issue. I was participating of a Zoom meeting and my wifi dropped 3 times for a few seconds when I was using continuity. After changing to use the laptop camera, the issue with the WIFI did not happen again.
