I saw this thread on the Monterey forum https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/copy-paste-between-macos-ios-not-working.2360980/ but since I am on Ventura the fix offered there does not work. A couple of weeks ago I could not paste to my iPhone from my Mac anymore, although the other way around was working, and also the iPhone would not show the Safari open tab anymore in the task switcher, and again the other way around continues to work. After a week of frustration (I use both features quite a lot) I decided to sign out of the Mac first, sign back in, sign out of the iPhone, sign back in and presto everything worked again. I don't have to explain that signing out is a nasty experience and I normally think twice before doing it.

Since Monday the problem is back again and I am completely puzzled why the problems occurs in the first place. All the usual things I checked of course (Wifi, Bluetooth, same wireless network, etc), but before I am going to do the sign out sign back in routine again I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem and what he/she did to resolve the issue (hopefully permanently)?

MacBook Pro Max 14" M1 10/24/64GB/1TB with macOS Ventura 13.2 (22D49)
iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB with iOS 16.3 (20D47)

For anyone experiencing this problem, it has been resolved for me. Last week I again logged out of iCloud on my iPhone (and foolishly forgot to set up Apple Pay again causing embarrassment in the super market 🙃 ), signed in again (did nothing) and a few hours later upgraded to iOS 16.3.1 (20D67) and the copy/paste from the Mac to the iPhone now works flawlessly again, as does the open tab from Safari on the Mac showing up in the switch apps on the iPhone.

There must have been some bug that Apple squashed with the update, but for me everything is well again.
