Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to control a Keynote presentation from the Apple Watch in presentation mode i.e. swipe to move on to the next slide etc.

Thanks.

It all depends on whether or not Apple updates the Keynote iPhone app with Watch compatibility.

During the "We still have a lot to cover" event in October, Craig Federighi used his Apple Watch to control a Keynote presentation during a OS X Yosemite demo.

He did? I'm going to have to go back and see. That would be a cool feature to have nice and handy.

Hi All,

I thought I recalled him using it in the original intro to the watch but couldn't remember. Thanks.

I really want this feature!!

What are everyone's thoughts on the cost and timescales? I personally was expecting the usual "and its available today" speak and was disappointed when they announced 24.04.15. I also think the cost of the space grey is a little high, but I will probably get one anyway.

It's available today seems to be tied more to both software and Mac hardware. New product categories and iOS devices seem to have a bit of a grace period, probably because they know that more people are likely to buy one day 1, as opposed to whenever they "just need to upgrade". As far as the keynote software update, I'm assuming that this will just be a free update to the iOS app.
