EDIT: Copilot claims this won't work, but those things are often wrong, so...
I've been thinking I have to avoid a Mac Mini/Studio because I want Hey Siri support, but just had a thought...
Could I stick a Homepod Mini by my monitor and use IT to pause or play media on a Mac? Siri on my iPhone can kind of do that with my Apple TV, so... like "hey siri, pause [Macintosh name] or something?
Or if that doesn't work, maybe it would if I use the Homepod as a speaker instead of my monitor's speaker, maybe then siri could at least play/pause?
Plus I'd get some other hey siri features, even if I'd rather have the Mac itself handling all that...but that means either getting an iMac, or throwing a Macbook behind my monitor, where Siri wouldn't hear as well (and it would take up more space than a Mini/Studio)
