Is there a way to control the width of columns in Finder windows in list view?

Up to a couple of months ago I used Finder Window Manager (https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/21475/finder-window-manager) for this but unfortunately this function of Finder Window Manager has stopped working with OS X 10.9.4.

Finder Window Manager had a brilliant function called Watcher that controlled each time a Finder Window got opened the width of the columns and adjusted them if necessary exactly to the widths that I wanted (see attached screen shot). This function does not work anymore and the application seems not to get updates anymore (I wrote the developer several emails and did not get an answer).

Is there anything similar like Finder Window Manager on the market?

Greetings - desertman

(Please note: I am writing about column widths in LIST view, not in COLUMN view.)
