Controlling the music app on iPhone?

Hi,

I'm sure there must've been some info about it and i just forgot, but can the watch remote control the music which is playing on the iPhone? Somebody mentioned the smartphone zombie epidemic nowadays, where everybody is just walking around atarring at their smartphone.

I myself very often have to walk around with the iPhone in my hands just because I wanna scrub around let's say in a podcast while going to the supermarket. It would be super nice to just do that on my wrist instead of having to pull out the phone every time.

Yeah, this will be big for me. I currently take walks with iPhone in hand because I'm always messing with the controls. I rather just leave my hands free.
