Conver Movie Files

Hey,

Im currently pulling an all-nighter trying to get a slide show done. I ran into some .wmv movie file. I am unable to work with these files in iMovie and would like to change them to something I can work with.

Is there any free/open-source software that will allow me to do so (or anything on the computer itself?)

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated,

Ffmpegx is a life saver and converts almost every video or audio format to something else.

Hey, didn't actually end up using it for that project, I just found a way to get them off the camera in a different file type.

But I did get this program and have used it a couple times sense that point and its working great.
