I called to inquire about the high res glossy vs antiglare. she told me that the anti-glare has more pixels than the high res glossy, but from everything ive read i thought they were the same?

Did i misunderstand her?

They both actually have the same amount of pixel and they both have a display resolution of 1680 x 1050. Only difference is the display itself

No, she just didn't know what she was talking about. Both high-res screens have the exact same number of pixels. The difference will be in whether it is glossy or matte finish. The glossy one will look better - the colors deeper and richer. The matte screen will not show glare so much. Make your decision based on that.

Once in awhile you are going to get someone that is either brand new and not fully trained, or perhaps just one who is not paying attention to you. No company is perfect.

HAHA! I called an Apple Rep regarding the Antiglare vs. Glossy issue like 30 minutes ago. Fortunately for me, I had someone who understood their stuff.. I think..

He recommended the Antiglare screen, even though my laptop will mostly be inside..

Anyways, ended up going with Antiglare, I don't have an Apple Store around to compare so hopefully its alright.

of course he would recommend the Anti-glare ... it is his job to up-sell you the more expensive model

and do not worry about the screen both are good ... you will love your new Mac

I think people have dreams at night about the workplace, but unfortunately if this dream happens to have a training session clients can suffer.
