My brother in-law has an i phone but he is very moody and sometimes just sits in the corner sulking.

We are having a family get-together today and he might be there. Can anyone suggests some good, intelligent questions to ask him about the i phone that will get him talking (thereby putting him in a good mood)?

Does your iPhone have the 'negative black screen problem?' :D

HI, how are you?

Ask him to give you a complete tour of the iPhone, every app with every little peice of info about each app. That always makes me happy.

"Is that an 8gig? Are you pissed that you paid too much?"

"Does it have battery problems?"

"I hear that thing drops a lot of calls...."

"My razor is just as good and was FREE!"

"I hate AT&T, I'll never switch."

"Where do you stand on the 'jailbreak' issue?"

"How long did you stand in line to get that?"

Help me out here, folks...I'm running dry!!!

I think you just listed most of the annoying questions iPhone users get asked constantly. I rarely keep mine visible in public for this reason.

Yeah I'd be nice to him about the phone and compliment it.

I can tell you that I don't ever get mine out either cause people just say mean things about it. "Junk, why did you waste your money, etc" People are so messed up to be like that. I wouldn't call their phone junk. Different things for different people.

As for your brother in law, I feel bad for him. Sounds like he's miserable being there. ha-ha. :)

Tell your sister to tell him that he won't get any if he keeps this up :p

Seriously though, just try to make general conversation about the iPhone (the touch screen is really cool in the store, I like Coverflow, blah, blah, blah). If that doesn't work, there's always Tequila :p

I took this walk to ease my mind
To find out what's gnawing at me
Wouldn't think to look at me,
that I've spent a lot of time in education
It all seems so long ago
I'm a thinker, not a talker
I've no-one to talk to, anyway

I can't see the road
for the rain in my eyes
Ahhh ...

He's probably in a bad mood sulking because he's at a family get-together when he would rather be at home or doing anything else.

So go up to him and say "man I hate these things, don't you? Come on, let's go get a beer."
