My friend forwarded me an Appleworks file of a database of names. I am a PC user and want to convert the file to Excel. It is only one table, so basically is a spreadsheet. When I try to open the file with Excel, I get a lot of jumbled characters.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

PC User :(

I don't have Appleworks, but I'd imagine it has the ability to save/export a file to a .csv (comma separated) format. Excel can import such a file.
