Convert Audible files?

I just swtiched to a MacBook Pro and I was just wondering, are there any programs availble for Mac OS X that will let me convert Audible (*.aa) files to *.mp3 files?

Otherwise, are there programs wil let a computer record what is being played over the speakers? I need to record some clips from an audio book.
