What ever happened to the developer for this automator scripts? I've found that my MP3 CD Player doesn't like anything beyond v1 tagged files. I found the script on the net, but it doesn't work with 10.5 and it does the job specifically change the files to work with MP3 CD players. Just copy a folder playlist on the desktop, run the automator and the tags are back to v1. You can do it in iTunes too, but you lose album artwork among other things.
