is there a way to convert a m4v file to vob to burn to cd. the reason is i want to watch a movie i have in apple tv format on my cd player since i dont have my apple tv with me. or if there is a better way please let me know.

Watch a movie on your CD Player??? I am confused... but you could probably use HandBrake or ffmpegx to do what you want... if that is M4V-VOB...

yes i want to convert a movie so i can watch it on my CD player. so i need to go from m4v to vob to make a CD and watch on my cd player.

Just use the source DVD. You do own it after all, don't you? How else would you have gotten that m4v? :D
 
i figures out a way. i used visual hub to convert to vob file. then i burtn a dvd with toast. put the dvd in the dvd player and it worked great.
