convert ogm to mp3

what kind of software for os x will allow you to convert ogm files to mp3? i'd preferably like one that is free thanks.

That usually includes video too. I'm not sure what you whould use then.

If you mean OGG, you better rerip as MP3 to avoid quality loss.

If you know how to deal with the command line, there's some tools (ogg decoding, mp3 encoding) at Rarewares.

Otherwise, you could try the demo of Sound Grinder. It supposedly support Ogg Vorbis->MP3 conversion.

I seem to remember some other tools that can help, but I can't find them. Oh, well.

There's also QuickTime components that allow Ogg Vorbis playback in iTunes, just in case you didn't know.


If you have access to the CDs, I strongly suggest you rerip as MP3 instead of converting, as it leads to additional quality loss.

Yes, they do visit here. I've seen some Bleach but I'm not really into it.

Since SoX Wrap was a PPC application and went the way of the dodo with OSX Lion, is there any other reliable free program that does this conversion that works on Intel machines?

If you are good at command line, ffmpeg will be the best free SDK.

Otherwise, you should go to google or App store to search certain video converter. And I am using Total Video Converter。
