Convert .rar files to .dmg

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to convert downloaded .rar files to .dmg files so I can use them on my G5.

As they are both inherently different formats, a conversion is not possible, as a .rar file is a compressed archive, while a .dmg is more of mountable image of a CD/DVD or any other medium.

You can use UnrarX or The Unarchiver to simply extract .rar files, just make sure you get the right version for your Mac OS X version.

MRoogle is also a good tool to find answers to many question, especially ones, that are asked are a lot.

I found and downloaded both. I tried UnrarX and worked great. Thanks for the tip
