I may be wrong, but since I installed the latest security update iTunes seemed to have gained back an awesome feaure. I could sware that when you right click a song in iTunes the only option was to convert to AAC, now the convert to MP3 option is back even for protected AAC files. Have I just been completely oblivious to this or is this new? I hope this hasn't been posted, I was too excited, a nice simple way to go to MP3 again.

It depends on what type of file you are importing music as, Preferences==>Advanced==>Import

But you can't convert protected AAC's ever.

Hahaha, shows how much I pay attention  . Damn, I thought there was some new and improved feature lol. Figures I just clicked a protected file and didn't try to convert it lol. I need to actually wake up more often in the morning. :D
