I searched around San Diego and found a place that had a couple of white i4 conversion kits available. The kicker was he said he could do it in 30-45 minutes, so I drove up to Encinitas and got the conversion done. It turned out great, I already had the white backplate so he simply installed the front.

Here are some low-quality pics taken with my wife's 3GS iPhone.

Here's a pic I took in my backyard with flash. No wash.

I like it a lot. Glad I did it.

All functions work just as well as they did in black. It's almost like getting a brand new iPhone. The screen is nice and clean, the home button is stiffer (in a good way). Proximity sensor works great (I didn't have a problem with the black one either). The flash has not been an issue since I got the backplate from iresq - there is a piece of small film on the inside that has to be removed before putting the plate on.

If you don't mind me asking, where in cali and how much did you get this done for? I'm in Vegas and I don't mind taking a trip out there sometime. you may PM me instead if you'd like, thanks. :)

If you can just post how much it cost and where you got it done, I'd appreciate it. And it would save the hassle of having to PM multiple people the same information.

Thanks!
