Congratulations to her. After an initial learning curve she should be much happier. I found David Pogue’s book “Switching to the Mac” to very very helpful in making the transition. Doesn’t look like the book has been updated in a few years though.

Yeah she is a very quick learner. What she like most in how great the touch pad is. To quote her "This is like a mind reader." I laughed.

she could re-key the commands, other than that there is no significant difference*
i use both windows 10 and Mojave and the commands are the most tricky things.
the other *aspects which i will get "reamed" over are just basic computing.
she might get frustrated over the incased ecosystem apple has,
but be relieved over the ease and set up OS comes on their systems.

Well we have an extensive Apple EcoSystem, we all have iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TV. I have my M1, she will soon have hers. I grew up on Apple. My father owned an Apple VAR from 1985 till he passed in 2013.
