I dont know if this is the best place to ask this but here it goes anyway.
I have a sound meter which shows the mic signal level purely in absolute decibels, in other words just the log of the ratio of power levels.
How would I go about taking this value and converting it to an equivalent dB relative to SPL (sound pressure level) which is the normal measurement unit for loudness?
