Converting an internal hard drive to external

Does anyone know how to make an internal hard drive into an external one. The reason I ask is because internal hard drives are a lot cheaper than external. If so, what steps would I have to follow in order to accomplish this. Thanks for any help with this.

you can pick up an exteral HDD Caddy real cheap and put your internal in there - cheap ones connect via USB but you can get some with firewire connections on

Hey, where do you live? If it's near Toronto there is a small PC store that sells these. I picked up one and a HD from them that is USB and Firewire, works great! If you are actually from around there let me know and I'll go searching for the name of the company.
