Hello all,

I'm a happy new Mac user, but I encountered the following problem:

Is there any way to convert an .AVI file to burn on DVD, to be able to play it on a regular standalone DVD-player ? I would also like to add some subtitles to the movie, which I have in .SRT format.

Would someone know what software could do the trick ?

Many thanks for eventual help !

Just a warning

I tried this, ohh, 4 years ago with ffmpegx and couldn't get it to work. The problem was it would convert with the subtitles correctly, but after the burn it wouldn't display the subtitles. Play the disc afterwards to make sure the titles are there, maybe ffmpegx has changed since then.

I've tried it several times in the mean while, but the subtitles simply won't convert with the movie.

Does someone perhaps know whether there is a better programme for this purpose ?

Thanks! :D
