Resolved Converting file types

Hello everyone!

Was wondering how do I convert .MTS files to .WAV files using Macbook Pro. I'm new to iMovie and Garageband and I'm not sure if these software can do it. Also, it would be preferred if I don't have to purchase another software. I'm under a strict budget!

.mts files are normally HD video streams, thus you could modify the following guide and use EXPORT AUDIO instead of Export to QuickTime from step 6 onwards and select your Format (AIFF is recommended for editing usage).

oh no!

I got an error message that 'The application ClipGrab quit unexpectedly.'

Deleted and reinstalled the application but it happened again after a few times.

My Mac is Version 10.5.8, 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo if that helps.
