Is anything built into a MBP that does this, or do I need a 3rd party program,?

There isn't anything specific to an MBP that would, and I don't know about OS X in general, but I know WannaAudio (can find it on the Mac App Store) would do the trick for you.

You don't need to do what you're asking to do. YouTube has an HTML5 option which uses h264 and AAC in mp4. All you need to do is download the HTML5 version of your choice (360p, 720p, 1080p) and import in to iTunes. I use jDownloader for grabbing the MP4s, but other tools will do it too.
