I would like to appologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong section. Looked around and could not find where to post. I purchased a few DVD's and wanted to place them on my hard drive, as to not carry them around while I am traveling. I used the Mac the Ripper program to convert them into DVD files. How would I convert them to be able to be viewed on my Mac Book Pro. Thank you for your help!

Thank you! I will look into these programs!

Just to pick your brain a littler further. .IFO and .BUP files are usually the Title Menus and Chapters with in the DVD itself?..While .VOB files are the actual videos?

I believe so, however I think .VOB files can also be moving pictures that are contained in menus, so they're not necessarily the movie that you're going after. Handbrake, when you add the folder as a source (or the straight DVD), will scan it and find the longest video. 99% of the time, it's right in its selection and that's the actual movie that you're looking for. If you're trying to rip TV shows, you'll select each one from the list and Add it to the queue separately.
