Converting mpeg movies into mp4

I have sucessfully converted mpegs into the new mp4 format and they are much smaller and work fine.

But, when I try to convert one that has sound in it, it says that it cannot have sound in the converted mp4. If there is a way to convert mpeg movies with sound into mp4's with sound please throw me a line.

You're not the only one that's had this problem.... I do, too... hope they fix it soon

fix

you have to extract the sound from the original movie and put it in as a separate track from the movie

I cant seem to ind those options in any of the menus that I can see

If you could point me in the right direction that would be great
