Hi everyone.
This is my first Mac, literally 2 hours old now, and I'm used to using Quicken Deluxe on my PC.
I really only use it for my checking accounts.
Will I be able to move these into Quicken Essentials for Mac?

I wouldn't. Quicken for the Mac sux. Less features, more bugs and costs more to boot.

I've been using quicken 2007 for Mac and I moved the data in from a windows PC. IIRC I just exported on windows to a file then imported it on the Mac. For just using like checkbook I've had no problems with quicken 2007. Not sure about quicken essentials. quicken 2007 has worked fine and I don't plan to upgrade.
