Help!

I found a font I want to use called Beteckna
http://gnu.ethz.ch/linuks.mine.nu/beteckna/

Unfortunately I can only find the files in .sfd format which fontbook won't read. Plus all the .ttf downloads links I can find don't work for me
I've tried FontForge but I don't really understand the program.

Is there any way I can convert the .sfd files to .ttf easily?
Or can anyone be so kind as to do it for me? Or give me plain english instructions on how to convert it with FontForge (their website FAQs are a nightmare)
The font is free to use according to the website.

Thankyou MacRumors! :D

Beteckna

Did you ever get beteckna converted? I had exactly the same problem and need the ttf files. If you've got them, would you be willing to share them?

Unfortunately not, which is a shame because it is such a nice font :(
I will find a way eventually I'm sure aha

The only way that you can convert the font is to use the opensource X11-based FontForge. It is not as easy to use as a MacOS X-native app, but it is by no means impenetrable.

TTFs are generated fonts for use.

I added no glyphs, corrected the extrema points and various glyph intersections and converted all the paths to TT. It has not been tested and is woefully incomplete-- So don't expect any braces and the non-English is lacking, to say the least...
